RETURN POLICY AND COSTS

Loud Bicycle will gladly accept returns within 30 days if our horn is found to be defective (see WARRANTY below). Loud Bicycle does not accept returns on horns which are functional. Loud Bicycle is always open for questions from prospective customers, to make sure our horn is the best fit for you. So if you have any further questions (about loudness, usability, mounting, weatherproofing, etc.), please email info@loudbicycle.com. 

If your horn is deemed eligible for refund, LoudBicycle can provide a refund of the item cost, minus our $30 restocking fee per unit.

WARRANTY

Loud Bicycle, LLC (“Loud Bicycle”) warrants to the original purchaser of this Loud Bicycle horn system, including peripheral equipment, (the “Product”) against any material defects in materials and workmanship during the following warranty periods beginning from the date the original purchaser received the Product: (i) the Product (except for the rechargeable battery) – six (6) months and (ii) the rechargeable battery – ninety (90) days. Loud Bicycle’s entire liability and the exclusive remedy under this warranty will be to repair or replace the Product or defective part in accordance with the procedures defined below. Repair or replacement of the Product or any defective part will not extend the applicable warranty period.
If any fault or defect with the Product arises, the original purchaser must notify Loud Bicycle during the warranty period and provide the proof of shipping date, product model, and details of the defect via email to info@loudbicycle.com. Loud Bicycle will provide service information or shipping instructions, and if requested by Loud Bicycle, the Product must be shipped prepaid to the address provided. If the Product is covered by this warranty, Loud Bicycle will repair or replace the Product and ship back to the original owner. If the Product is not covered by this warranty, an estimate of charges will be furnished by Loud Bicycle before any repairs are made. Loud Bicycle reserves the right to replace any repairable parts with new or refurbished parts. In no event shall Loud Bicycle be held responsible for any other costs, charges, expenses, losses or damages (direct, indirect or otherwise), of any kind whatsoever arising out of a defective Product.

The warranty does not apply to any Product (i) that is not installed (or Loud Bicycle believes to have not been installed) in compliance with the applicable Product documentation; (ii) on which the original identification marks have been removed or modified; or (iii) that has been modified, adjusted, repaired or disassembled by any party other than Loud Bicycle or its approved subcontractors and retailers.11 Further, this warranty does not apply to, and Loud Bicycle shall not be liable for: (i) damage due to accident, negligence or misuse; (ii) any defect in, or failure of, the external electrical supply to the Product; (iii) any defect of, or caused by, parts not supplied by Loud Bicycle; (iv) normal wear and tear resulting from use and exposure to the elements; or (v) any other issue that does not result from a material defect in materials and workmanship.

THIS WARRANTY IS THE ONLY WARRANTY MADE AND THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AVAILABLE WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCT. LOUD BICYCLE SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS OF THE PRODUCT OR FOR INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR EXPENSES ARISING FROM THE PRODUCT, OR FOR LABOR OR OTHER COSTS RELATED TO INSTALLATION OR REMOVAL, OR COSTS OF REPAIRS BY OTHERS, OR FOR ANY OTHER EXPENSE NOT SPECIFICALLY STATED ABOVE. IN NO EVENT WILL LOUD BICYCLE’S LIABILITY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT.

EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THAT OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR USE OR FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED. THIS WARRANTY IS NOT TRANSFERABLE, AND SHALL BE NULL AND VOID IN THE EVENT OF ANY TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP OF THE PRODUCT.
